Constructed by joining planes of raw textile brushed with saturated ink washes, the process introduces misalignments and material loss. The resulting sculptures reflect the impact of weather and time on built objects, their boundaries, and surrounding space. Monolithic pillars, pedestals, and stairs gesture to Teschners interest in the essential forms required for building larger structures.
