Imperio is a luxurious silk woven on a jacquard machine of the latest generation. Fine, twisted silk warp yarns in very high density (136 threads per cm) form the dense, lustrous base fabric from which the matte ornament stands out in contrast. This effect is caused by a linen thread in the weft, weaved onto the surface of the fabric in a waving motion. Imperio is produced in one of the best and most innovative weaving factories in India, which in every respect meets Christian Fischbachers high standards and has been valued as a trusted partner over many years.
